Quick pear tart with flaky pastry

Because it’s Saturday, we needed something for afternoon tea, and I had a sheet of flaky pastry left over in the freezer.

I layered thinly sliced pears on the frozen pastry, sprinkled over about two teaspoons of sugar, dotted with butter, and baked in an 180ยบ oven for about 30 minutes.

Success! The pastry was overly buttery, the pears were lovely and crisp, and not too sweet.
